On the released of Android 9 Pie yesterday, Essential Phone join the league along with Google Pixel 2/2XL to released an update of the new Android OS. This is the first time when a new Operating System is launched with an update available on a smartphone almost immediately. Essential has stated earlier this year that it won't launch a new smartphone this year. But to remain on top of the game, the US base tech company has immediately released the Android 9 Pie update on its flagship phone.
