Five more African countries can now use Twitter Lite

Twitter, in a press statement revealed that the Lite version of the Twitter is now available in more countries on Google Play store. In total, 45 countries of the world can now use Twitter Lite version. Nigeria and South Africa already have Lite version of Twitter on Google Play store. The recent press released shows that Twitter added five more Africa countries which is among the list of the 21 countries recently listed. This include, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Uganda and Zimbabwe.



Twitter Lite is especially cool for twitter user who live in area where there is 2G/3G network. It will help the user save data. He or she can decide which  image or videos to load. Further, it also allows you to bookmark important tweet for later read. The favourite twitter thread is also on the Lite version, push notifications and other interest features.

If using data bandwidth cost you more than you expect, then the Lite version of Twitter can be more economical to use. You should consider downloading it now for very low Megabits.
