The Mi A2 was launched in India market on August 8 same day the Meziu 16 was launched in China. The A2 Xiaomi smartphone which also has a Lite variant will be available for sale on Mi.com and at Amazon India. Xiaomi promises a free Mi A2 smartphone, if you reweet each of their tweet probably till the released date. The Mi A2 will also be sold in Mi Home in India and Mi preferred partner stores.
