In a media post earlier, Xiaomi promises to release an Android 9 Pie update to Mi A2 line up. The Mi A2 is an Android One smartphone and as explained by Google, all Android One smartphone will easily upgrade to Android Pie. The Mi A2 flagship was launched in July this year and was powered by Android Oreo. It uses snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm.

The smartphone is B-class, as its a middle range device. Xiaomi, upgrading the Mi A2, will not do so for its sake. The company is promoting the Mi A2 so seriously, it need to have more sales on the Mi A2 both in India and overseas. Not quite long, the tech company has declared its intention to sale the phone not only in China and India but also, Hong Kong, and other overseas country. The Mi A2 is mounted with 3000 mAh battery capacity, approximately 6-inch screen size, 20MP front camera and 12MP/20MP rear cameras.
When will Xiaomi release the update? The tech company don't fix any date. However, it is likely that an update will be schedule for this year.
