A press release made available by a source, revealed that Huawei will launch its new mobile phone chipset in IFA trade show this year in Berlin, that is, the Hisilicon Kirin 980. The chipset will launch with a 7nm semi conductor. The Kirin 980 will thereby be the first chip to feature such conductor.
The press statement, quoted Mr. Richard Yu, who is Huawei CEO of consumer business group as saying that the Kirin 980 will power the Mate 20 series. In addition, there will be a variant of the Mate 20 series that will use windows operating system. Huawei Mate 20 will be launched in October this year base according leaks sources.
