As part of the drive to maintain favourable market competition and meet consumer demands, Sony has finally released information revealing that it will start rolling out Android Pie update this November. The tech company, after confirming its none involvement in previous statement on tech blog that it will released the update soon.
The statement made by Sony, in its recent blog post, shows that the Xperia XZ2 Premium, XZ2, XZ2 Compact, XZ Premium, XZ1 Compact and XZ1 will receive a slice of Android Pie this November. Sony Xperia is among the smartphones that are yet to copy iPhone X notch design. The other Sony smartphones to receive Android 9 update are XA2 Plus, XA2 Ultra and the regular XA2. Users of this smartphones should expect an update later on in 2019.
